| Lynx is another modern constellation created by Polish astronomer Johannes Hevelius in the late seventeenth century to fill in the unformed areas on his chart. It represents a Lynx, a wild cat found in North America. Being a newer constellation, Lynx has no Greek mythology associated to it. |
